HOWTO: Get Your Gear Installed Cheap in Toronto

Just like you, I can always use some extra money for my ride. With that in mind, and the experience I've got with these cars, I'm happy to help out with installations of most aftermarket parts. I take my time and make sure the job is done right and I charge a lot less than a dealer or performance shop would.

If you need something installed, drop me a note. If you leave a private message in the guestbook, I'll almost certainly get it within a day or two if I'm in town or feel free to email me at hoppk@hotmail.com. If I can do it for you, I'll be happy to. Some things I'll do for as little as a case of beer. I'll do most suspension jobs for under $200. Let me know what you need done, and we'll work something out.

As a general rule, I teach as I go so after doing the installation with me, you should be in a position to be turning wrenches on your own the next time around. That alone makes it better, in my eyes, than just dropping your car off at a garage and having it done for you.

Keep in mind, however, that I'm not a garage so as a rule, I don't do general maintenance tasks. They're just not interesting to me and if I'm not going to enjoy it, then I'm not going to make time in my busy schedule to do it. This includes things like oil changes and other stuff that you can easily get done at a garage that needs no knowledge of aftermarket parts or nuances.

This is a list of some of the things I've done in the past and am happy to teach. I'm putting this here as an example of the sorts of things I do on a regular basis but if you don't see what you need here, that by no means implies that I haven't done it or can't do it.
